Where do I begin..... This place is hidden in Northlake right of us41. Very easily missed if you don't know where your going. Once you try their food I know you'll be back for more. My favorite is the tampiquena. The meat is so tender and full of flavor. They have a pretty extensive menu. Lunch specials are great which is why everytime I've gotten here around that time this place has been fully packed. I've always caught the owner interacting and working just as hard as the others here which you rarely see. I'm huge on customer service and they've past the test. I live in the city but make it a habit to come out at least 1 a month. I won't go anywhere else for Mexican food. It just doesn't compare.

The food is amazing!! i am so glad there is a fine mexican restaurant that my family and friends can enjoy. Everytime I go the food is delicious. I usually order the Tampiquena which is a delicious skirt steak with rice, beans, guacamole, and an enchilada. everytime i try something new i have a new favorite. The molcajete, the tilapia, and shrimp are all magnificent. The atmosphere is welcoming. I even made friends with the wait staff. I always receive great and quick service. The manager has even come toward our table to say hello and welcoming us to the restuarant. My friends and I decided to stay one night for the entertainment and we had a blast. We were there for Lady's Night which had $2 margaritas and martinis. The DJ was great! we were dancing all night to salsa, merengue, and bachata. It was like going to a club but instead of going downtown i was in my hometown. Now my girlfriends and I make sure we go every weekend for a good time. I love this place.

I love this place! The food is great. I would venture away from the typical tacos and burritos because you can get that anywhere! My favorites are the Steak Ajonjoli and the pollo Achiote. Oh and Pollo al Cilantro... I love cilantro! I think they should do more desserts since sometimes my friend and I like to go out for drinks and dessert, but the flan is delicious. and the rest still need to be tried. OOO and I forgot Karaoke on Thursdays and weekend dance parties. you forget it's in the burbs! I love the old school tracks! yes, this is my new hangout.
